Grammy-award winning singer/songwriter Rebecca St. James will headline a “Scholarship Celebration Concert” Sept. 22 at ����ֱ��ҕ�l’s Thomas Fine Arts Center.

St. James catapulted into the spotlight following the release of her self-titled Forefront Records debut in 1994. Some of her best-known albums include “Pray,” “God” and “Transform.” The Australian native’s pop sensibilities and uncompromising lyrics set a benchmark in Christian music, leading a new generation of artistry in the genre.

She is also known for her work as a best-selling author, speaker and actress.

After a hiatus from recording and touring – during which she married and started a family – St. James returned to the stage in 2018 to perform with her brothers, the award-winning duo For KING & COUNTRY. In 2022, she released “Kingdom Come,” her first full-length studio album in 11 years.

“We are excited to welcome Rebecca St. James to ����ֱ��ҕ�l for this special Scholarship Celebration Concert,” said Karen Golson, ����ֱ��ҕ�l director of advancement.

“Events like this play a vital role because nearly all Carey students receive some form of financial aid. Every scholarship dollar helps remove barriers for students as they pursue their goals. We look forward to an inspiring evening of music, worship and community.”

����ֱ��ҕ�l’s a cappella group, Carey On, will also perform during the Scholarship Celebration Concert.

The concert starts at 7 p.m. Ticket prices range from $30 to $60.
